Children are confronted with their own attitudes at a very early age. they are good at certain things and have difficulty with others. This is natural, just as we have strengths and weaknesses as adults.
Throughout our lives we are constantly searching and finding. It's as if we have many little magnets built into us. Some with the positive side out, some with the negative side out. And these little magnets attract things that we fall in love with at first sight, that enchant us.
They repel certain things, giving us all sorts of unpleasant sensations without us being able to determine why. As adults, this is a well-functioning system that we almost use as a compass. But we need to tell our children so that they too understand what these feelings help us to do and how. You don't have to like every food, every animal, every activity to be a really good person. You just have to accept that they exist and that they are good... for others.
